Lots of new work in the pipeline, including paintings, sculpture and a table (for those that thought I’d abandoned furniture!). A large selection of my work and some absolutely stunning pieces by @tompriceartist will be displayed in a show in Gstaad, Switzerland, Curated by @ursvonungergallerygstaad this Feb-April TBC. One from the vault! An old piece I produced from an English walnut burl, with bronze bowl sections. Much bigger than it looks (1.2m across) . . Detail shots from a 2015 piece. Silver is cast into the cracks of burnt and brushed oak, removed and polished, and then permanently set into the timber. I’m currently slaving away on a wall piece which will be on display at @theotherartfair this October during Frieze week in London. Hand carved it is a very slow process and needs further refinement before colouring. . This is the ‘dirty’ side of my studio which usually descends into chaos and is probably a health and safety nightmare!
